Washington L&I check
Check any Washington contractor before you hire
Type a business name or licence number. We read the state’s own contractor, bond and insurance records and show what they say right now — for anyone working in Washington, whether or not they are on KABLAY.
Why this matters here
Registration is the floor, not the ceiling
Washington requires most home-improvement contractors to register with Labor & Industries and carry a bond and liability insurance. An expired registration is the first thing worth catching.
Bond and insurance are separate records
A contractor can be registered while the bond has lapsed. The state publishes them as separate datasets, so we show them separately too.
The data is the state’s, not ours
Every card links to the official L&I record so you can confirm it yourself. We are reading a public dataset, not grading anyone.
