Terms of Service

These Terms govern kablay.us and the KABLAY marketplace. “KABLAY,” “we” and “Platform” mean the service operator identified on an applicable KABLAY payment receipt. Contact: support@kablay.us. KABLAY connects homeowners with independent professionals; it does not perform home-service work.
1. Agreement and eligibility
By using KABLAY, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. A business user confirms authority to bind that business.
2. Marketplace role
Professionals are independent businesses or individuals, not KABLAY employees, agents or subcontractors. The homeowner and selected professional agree directly on scope, price, schedule, deposits, materials, permits, payment and workmanship warranty. KABLAY does not hold or process homeowner payment for the repair and takes no percentage of the work price.
3. Accounts and accurate information
Keep identity, business, service area, availability and contact information accurate. Do not impersonate another person, create deceptive profiles or bypass security. KABLAY may request information needed for safety, billing, moderation or a stated verification badge.
4. Tasks and contact disclosure
Homeowners must describe tasks honestly and avoid public posting of door codes, financial data or unnecessary sensitive information. Professionals may view non-contact task details and unlock contact information only through the KABLAY flow. An unlock does not guarantee a response, agreement, payment or completed job.
5. Professional credentials and advertising
Professionals are responsible for every registration, license, certification, bond, insurance and permit required for their work. An applicable Washington contractor must provide and display the WA contractor registration number in the public profile and KABLAY quotes or estimates where required. Plumbing and electrical credentials are separate from general or specialty contractor registration.
6. Contact prices and balances
KABLAY may sell task-contact access at displayed prices, including $9, $19 or $39 tiers where shown. The exact price and refund rule shown before an unlock control that transaction. Credits are Platform-use balances, not bank deposits, and are not transferable except where law requires.
7. Premium subscriptions
Premium features, price, billing period and renewal terms are shown before purchase. Unless checkout says otherwise, a subscription renews until canceled before the next billing date. Included contact access remains subject to fair-use, fraud and abuse controls. Premium does not purchase organic ranking. Any paid placement must be labeled Sponsored.
8. Invalid contacts, refunds and chargebacks
A refund or credit is available only under the rule displayed for the purchase or a written KABLAY policy. Defined cancellations or invalid contacts may qualify; failure to win a job does not. Contact support before a chargeback. Fraudulent claims, duplicate accounts or abusive chargebacks may lead to suspension and recovery of amounts lawfully owed.
9. Matching and organic order
Matching and organic order may use service and city fit, travel radius, stated availability, response and completion history, reliability, verification, task relevance and safety status. KABLAY may test these systems. Sponsored placement, if offered, is labeled and is not merged with organic reliability signals.
10. Reviews and external reputation
A KABLAY Job Review may be submitted only by the homeowner on an assigned or completed KABLAY task. KABLAY may moderate it using task records and evidence. Google or other external reputation is displayed separately with its source and is never added to the KABLAY rating or KABLAY Job Review count.
11. Verification and L&I data
Badges describe only the specific check shown. Interview, phone, identity, portfolio review, registration, trade credential, bond and insurance are separate. State data may be delayed or incomplete. Confirm current official records, owners, classification and credentials directly with Washington Labor & Industries before hiring.
12. Complaints and disputes
KABLAY may organize Platform records, request evidence, contact the other party, moderate content or enforce Platform rules. KABLAY does not adjudicate damages, force a refund, provide a workmanship warranty or promise goodwill compensation. Official agency, bond-claim, court and legal-advice options remain available.
13. Prohibited conduct and enforcement
Do not use KABLAY for unlawful work, harassment, discrimination, spam, fraud, fake reviews, credential misrepresentation, fee evasion, scraping, malware or interference. KABLAY may limit visibility, remove content, suspend accounts, preserve evidence and cooperate with lawful requests.
14. Payments and taxes
KABLAY payments cover Platform products such as contact access, balances or subscriptions—not homeowner repair work. Professionals are responsible for taxes, business records and customer invoices. KABLAY may correct billing errors or reverse fraudulent credits.
15. User and external content
You retain ownership of submitted content and grant KABLAY a nonexclusive license to host, resize, translate, moderate and display it for operating and promoting the Platform. Submit only content you may lawfully use. Public records, external reviews and linked sources remain subject to source terms.
16. Disclaimers and limits
KABLAY is provided as available. To the extent permitted by law, KABLAY disclaims warranties about uninterrupted access, a particular match, professional conduct, state-data completeness or project outcome. Nothing excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
17. Changes, termination and law
KABLAY may update features, prices and these Terms. Material changes will be posted with a new date and added notice when required. Washington law applies to the permitted extent without overriding mandatory consumer rights. Contact support@kablay.us with the task or payment reference before legal action so records can be preserved.
